We present a memristive neural network implemented with analog circuit including memristors to demonstrate circuit-based learning. However, it is difficult to implement neural network and learning algorithms for artificial brain in reality. The circuit of a neural network is designed with memristor synapses with a simple learning algorithm. The proposed circuit is able to obtain the results through PSPICE simulation of the logic operation executes using the hardware based neural network. We verify the performances of the neural network of the memristor-based analog circuit and obtain the AND logic operation as a simulation. When the circuit is in its original state without any learning, it is confirmed that it performs an OR logic operation, and it is changed into a circuit for performing an AND logic operation. The circuit has a weighted control input and its resistance is set according to the control signals that generalize its operational status from OR to AND function. It is expected that the neural network implemented by the proposed memristor based neural circuit can be applied as an effective image processing system which is similar to human visual organs.
